To Upload Data to the Project for Steel Engineering Work Package

This procedures describes how to upload data to a project to create a Steel engineering work package.

  1. Open ConstructSim Work Package Server and log in to the project.
  2. From the Engineering pane, click Create engineering work packages.
  3. Create a steel engineering work package.
  4. In the <Title - Description> Engineering work package window, go to the Steel tab and click Upload.
  5. In the Upload Steel window, click Select files and in the Choose File to Upload dialog, select Steel01.stp (ConstructSimData > Projects > [your project] > ProjectData > CAD > CIS2).
  6. After the checkmark displays to the left of the file name, close the Upload Steel window. The file displays on the Steel tab.
  7. Turn on the check box to the left of the file name and from Download selected > Set properties > Set CAD data source, select CIS2, or whatever name you gave the CIS/2 CAD Converter at the time of configuration (See CIS/2 CAD Converter).
  8. Click Set in the Set data source for related CAD Models dialog.
